reached, purchased my daily cartons of Marigold Peel Fresh Fuji Apple Aloe Vera and Marigold Hi-Calcium Fresh Soya Milk. paid, left. decided against it.. leaned against the ice cube refrigerator outside, i lighted one up and savoured it like there's no tomorrow.. when all's done i calmly strolled out into the rain. this, fellow readers.. were moments of peace.. i have not felt so at ease for ages.. ever since the dry spell or heatwave or whatever the fuck's been causing discomfort and stickiness and humidity every available daylight second, i have never felt so chillingly refreshed.. naturally cleansed.. lightning flashed and thunder rumbled overhead...

why do people struggle against the elements and feebly use umbrellas?? they'll get wet anyway! i was thoroughly drenched but it just... felt right... i looked up and felt and tasted the raindrops.. as they happily and gleefully kissed me... the Rain... the Rain... ahh.. many curse the heatwave.. yet when it rains, they curse it as well.. to all those people, sod off and die.. you deserve to be minced up with rotten horses' rectums (inspired by Fear Factor) and fed to rabid pigs with down syndrome...

got home, changed, and plopped myself in front of the computer.. til now.. i may decide to adopt the other skin cos it's layout is almost perfect. just a little meddling here and there and things will fall into place.. i'll end today here.. i think.. til later~

P.S i am very very bitter about the training that's going on while i'm doing baseguard duty.

shivered quite a bit in the bus.. felt i wasn't drippy enough.. i could see the way everyone distanced themselves away from me.. DAMMIT i wasn't drippy enough! *chucklez* when i got off i almost felt sorry i had to go up.. but what the hell. i turned right when i was supposed to turn left.. towards 7-11... no shelter from my block to the row of coffeeshops across the road... WHeeEe!!~ as i approached my carpark porch/shelter thingy.. i stopped.. 2 vehicles side by side (very close to each other) and facing opposite directions.. something wrong here.. 2 enraged men lept out of their respective vehicles.. a lady was with one of them.. a bitter exchange ensued.. took a closer look since i was passing that way...

the lady.... ooooh... that's my neighbour! the guy has gotta be her spouse or something.. he looks familiar too... oh yeah, bitter exchange, vulgarities.. was neighbour's hubby gonna hit the man? WAS HE?? he looked like he was going to.. i stopped close by.. first the rain, now this... is this a dream come true? i waited nearby.. hand on my hip, scowl on my face.. scowl from watching these 2 spewing hokkien expletives or from the cold i don't know... please please hit him. heart raced in anticipation.. hit him... it raced... HIT HIM!! but he didn't.. the less menacing guy cooled down and threw a hasty 'apology' (replete with mumbled hokkien expletives)... disappointed, i proceeded with my journey to 7-11 taking great care to avoid any blocks, preferring instead to walk in the open.. i've finally returned after a short stint away from the stress of blog-altering... Hmm... today was pretty good considering the fact that i had to go back to work on an off day. started the day with breakfast, briefing and an intense discussion on base security.. lunch beckoned after that and i had my fill..

back in quarters, i hung around and busied myself with a spidey comic i found lying around.. 1400hrs and off we went back to the ops room.. barely a minute there and the ops room suddenly burst with activity.. seems that something involving another cave-in somewhere has resulted in a fatality and many injured.. check it out

i froze... again? pricked ears picked up more info.. unable to do much we headed to the canteen.. there a bet with kak ani resulted in free milo peng for everyone!~ waheY!! downed my share and dirtied myself with repainting the sentry hut.. ahh... such menial work relegated to us SCs... :\ after everything was done retired back to quarters and waited the remaining couple of hours to go home..

got a ride near home in abang mat's infamous blue van.. as i got off.. the first few drops of rain lightly tapped down on me... the air... this smell... i have not smelt this smell for a long time... as the intensity of the raindrops slowly increased, i tried to supress a smile... not successful... =)

i took my time walking to the busstop.. if the gods couldn't hold their metaphorical bladders, then i'm glad they didn't... the Rain gradually became heavier... still i didn't quicken my pace.. the busstop was about 30m away... that's 30m too near.. i plodded on slowly.. my shirt stuck to my skin.. my hair plastered to my forehead.. i must have struck a ridiculous sight, walking casually in the rain where other people scurry for shelter... pheww! i spent a good part of the day switching to n from skins to compare codes n the like jez to see the effects of each code. playing ard wif the figures proved tiring as well. u get frustrated when sumthing duznt work out n u get even more frustrated when it does work out but it alters smthing else instead..

2 skins stand out the most now.. i twiddled with the first one for a good 2hrs but wifout the expert counsel of my sis (whoz working at the moment) progress is limited... there's a light at the end of the tunnel yet.. ;)

the other one, i really like except it duznt have much space for graphics and the like.. it has an image on the left side.. a little squashed up i gotta say.. then again im unable to find an image large enuff to cover a good portion of the page AND not mess up the legibility of my entries as of now...

the search continues i guess..

ive yet to take a bath since i woke up. hahaz.. oh well im off to the loo now.. hygiene n work beckonz.. ;P til tomorrow!~

im back home and this is possibly my 12th (or 12, 000th who cares) skin. there're a couple (or a coupla hundred) nice skins that meets my stringent requirements.. itz gotta have enough boxes.. itz gotta haf scrolling thingies, it musn't be too much to the left or right or centre.. it must haf enuff space fer me to link my own pic up n stuff... gosh im a demanding prick..

currently im using this bluish dark thingy.. hmmz i think shez younger than me bt look at her! designing skins! n here i am getting my panties in a knot over which one to CHOOSE... talk abt the spoilt.. ;P

as u can see i have finally settled (temporarily) on a skin. too blue for my liking but the layout's nice.. i'll slowly fill out the rest of the stuff when i feel less drained n stuff.. lotsa tweaking to do.. url is crimsonknives bt currently there's nothing crimson at all abt this layout.. will change in due time. since my buddy alman is hounding me fer the url of my oh-so-ugly blog, i shalt give it to him now.. in the meantime, im off to the sensation clinic... back in a few~
